10 Best British Wrestlers Ever

2. William Regal

When watching the WWE, you can sometimes get a feel for people who are certain to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at some point during their lives. And you can almost certainly assume that William Regal will be one of those men, having enjoyed a stellar career with the company - and in wider professional wrestling. An archetypal, snobbish British citizen, he played the role of heel to perfection during his early stints with the WWE and WCW. His achievements inside the ring may not be quite as significant as the man who tops the list, but winning the prestigious King of the Ring tournament is no mean feat - something that puts him amongst illustrious company. Still with the WWE as a ring announcer and occasional competitor in 2014, Regal still draws huge cheers from the crowd whenever he comes out during tours of Britain. He is a fiercely popular man, and deserves to be so high up on this list. In all honesty, it was tough to leave him off the top spot.
