1. The Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XXVI)
Here we are at number one, the greatest build to a WrestleMania main event - Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels in a Streak vs. Career match at WrestleMania XXVI. After Taker beat The Heartbreak Kid at WrestleMania 25, it seemed like both men would move on to other things but when Shawn came out to accept the Slammy for match of the year for their Mania encounter, he challenged Undertaker saying he knew he could beat him. Undertaker declined the offer so Michaels entered the Royal Rumble to win and get the chance to face The Dead Man for the World Title. After he lost the Rumble match, Michaels spiralled out of control, losing the tag titles and becoming obsessed with Undertaker. At the Elimination Chamber PPV, Michaels cost 'Taker his World title which finally prompted Taker to accept the match, only if Michaels put his career on the line. In three months, these two legends made the fans care more about their WrestleMania match than anything else in the company. When Shawn's career was put on the line, a lot of fans knew what it meant but didn't want to admit it. But looking back, Shawn Michaels retired in the greatest WrestleMania main event programme of all time. Not a bad way to go... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_fyL328yoU What did you think?
