10 Best Candidates To Win WWE’s New World Heavyweight Title
4. Finn Bálor
Say what you will about WWE's system, but the promotion does still respect those workers who soldier through pain to deliver killer moments. Finn Bálor certainly did that opposite Edge inside Hell In A Cell at WrestleMania 39, and it'd be so gratifying to see him be rewarded for that hustle.
Also, Bálor stared a hole through the new World Title on Monday's Raw. He has previous when it comes to bagging new World Titles in WWE too - the Irishman toppled Seth Rollins to become the first Universal Champ way back at SummerSlam 2016, which honestly feels like a lifetime ago.
Is the Judgment Day leader about to strike again?!
Triple H is a big fan of Finn's, so he'd likely green-light another title run if it kept the JD story purring away. A darker, heel version of Bálor has never been seen at the top table in WWE, so maybe 2023 is the last chance to make it a reality.
