One can practically hear the groans from here.

It's important to point out that Triple H suggested WWE needed a full-time World Heavyweight Champ to counteract Roman Reigns' part-time schedule, so maybe Brock Lesnar isn't even in the running. He's Brock f'n Lesnar though, so of course he's in the running for top titles.

WWE's recent amalgamation under the Endeavor Group banner with UFC sticks in the back of this fan's mind. Brock has experienced success in both leagues, and him winning the brand new World Title would create headlines across the globe. It'd also p*ss a ton of folks off on Twitter, which would keep the belt in conversation there too.

Lesnar storming his way to a win in Saudi Arabia sounds like the kind of thing Vince McMahon will pitch to Triple H and WWE creative. Then, if McMahon deems it so, this will bloody well happen. Brace yourselves if that sounds like a Night Of Champions nightmare.
