10 Best Contenders For The Undertaker At WrestleMania 33

9. Dean Ambrose

What a conundrum the lunatic fringe remains to be. Dean Ambrose is in the unenviable position of being a top guy who is booked strong but will never be the poster child. Many were surprised Dean captured the WWE title at all but after the brand extension it is unclear what to do with Ambrose if he is not in the title picture. There is every chance Ambrose will remain in the title hunt but much like last year, could he be a surprise candidate for a part time performer?

Eyebrows were raised when Dean was announced as the opponent for Brock Lesnar, and truthfully the match did not live up to expectations. But the unpredictability factor of how a 'Taker vs Ambrose match would go down is a more intriguing concept than Shane McMahon ever was. Despite a prominent 2016, it would still seem a mismatch in status - so only expect Dirty Deeds to take place if the Phenom intends on returning to WWE beyond Orlando.
