Possibly the most unlikely candidate on this list but recent rumours of a Royal Rumble appearance in Texas were too wide spread not to consider the possibility. The train of thought seemed to be a surprise entrance in the Rumble match or a feud with AJ Styles. Realistically, If HBK does show up it will likely be in a non-wrestling capacity.
With Undertaker appearing on SmackDown 900 there is the possibility he will announce there and then that he is done. If that happens, HBK turning up in Texas to tell Undertaker he can’t just walk away becomes a lot more plausible. Whilst many would prefer Shawn Michaels to remain retired and not risk jeopardising his own wonderful send off, a third and final confrontation against his greatest Wrestlemania opponent would be a deserved ending for the legend of The Undertaker.
