10 Best Current WWE Finishers

8. Kinshasa - Shinsuke Nakamura

It's appropriate that a man who goes by the name of "King of Strong Style" should have one of the most stiff, brutal-looking finishers in the whole of WWE. Nakamura's trademark Kinshasa/Bomaye is painful to watch, let alone receive.

That's what makes it stand out from the crowd: it's incredibly authentic. If this move - which, at a basic level, involves the Japanese star kneeing opponents in the skull from a running jump - were performed for real, there'd be casualties.

And yet, unlike other purportedly dangerous wrestling moves, it seems to have a pretty spotless record in the ring when it comes to causing injury (Austin Aries being the obvious, rule-proving exception). It's perhaps safer than a great many other moves whose impact isn't nearly as great.

All that's lacking from the Kinshasa at the moment is legitimacy. For all his WWE Title opportunities against Jinder Mahal over the summer, Nakamura is still to pick up a big main roster PPV win off the back of using it, which is a state of affairs that surely can't go on much longer.
