Wrestling themes are awesome.

Sure, most of them sound ridiculous or are super generic, but the ones that work are a blast to listen to and, more importantly, help the character who they belong to get over.

It’s hard to imagine The Million Dollar Man without his iconic “It's All About the Money” theme or The Undertaker without his funeral march or The Ultimate Warrior without the hyper, blaring guitar riffs of “Unstable”.

Entrance themes bring us to our feet, they fill us with excitement and have become deeply ingrained in the business over the past couple of decades. Everyone must have one, but which ones reign supreme?

There are currently some great themes for the members of the WWE and NXT rosters. A few of them are destined to become classics, and will be sung by humanoids for hundreds of years to come!

Before we start, honourable mention goes to David Otunga, who may have the best theme song in the business...but instead has to stay behind the announcer's desk. Maybe his gimmick could be that his music plays, he walks to the ring, and when it’s over he walks back? Just a thought...

Overlooking that, here are the 10 best themes in WWE right now.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
