10 Best Current WWE Theme Songs

10. Finn Balor - “Catch Your Breath”

Finn Balor has burst onto the main roster, and brought his great theme song from NXT with him. It’s an epic, wordless score that perfectly fits his enigmatic character.

A creepy heartbeat sets the stage, before blasting into a heavy rock opera. The highlight of it all is the dramatic accents, where the lights dim and Balor raises his arms as soon as they come back on. It’s a great touch, and one that’s hard to not join in on. Even when I listen to this song alone, I can’t help but raise my arms to the sky in unison and throw my head back. This is likely why I’ve got in four accidents while it played in my vehicle...

Even more exciting is the prospect of future shows where Balor goes into full demon mode and choreographs his entrance to the song. It has the potential to be one of the most defining themes of this generation.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
