10 Best Current WWE Theme Songs

3. Daniel Bryan (Flight Of The Valkyries)

Click play on the YouTube file above and it may seem a little strange to hear WWE's rocked-up version of "Flight Of The Valkyries" without a few thousand voices shouting "Yes! Yes! Yes!" over and over again. Indeed, even listening to Wagner's original classic has one pointing their fingers to the sky in sporadic bursts.

Bryan's metal-tastic cover of such an important piece of music history has created some memories of its own.

It's a sheer joy to see Daniel with a smile on his face again as he makes his way to the ring. Knowing he's not doing so as some anaemic SmackDown authority figure and can actually wrestle only adds to the occasion, and everything is made sweeter knowing one of WWE's best ever themes is thanks to a German composer from the 19th century.

Nobody could have predicted that when a softer version of "Valkyries" was used to portray Bryan as a nerd who didn't belong in wrestling's biggest company back in 2010. News flash: he does, and his entrance track is one of the best WWE have.
