10 Best Current WWE Theme Songs

2. Finn Bálor (Catch Your Breath)

On the subject of news flashes, maybe it's time to send another WWE's way and kindly ask them to stop using Finn Bálor's brimming smile as his only personality trait. Seriously, it's annoying, and it doesn't make sense when he's been so effective as a brooding "Demon" who moves so quickly in ring that you'd have to "Catch Your Breath".

Which, as luck would have it, just so happens to be the name of his rather fine entrance track.

A heartbeat intro and dirty bass throb combine to set the tone for what's to come. 45 seconds later, there's a deep inhalation of breath and a riff so sexy it should be illegal drops the curtain on Bálor's arrival. After all that, some striking strings add to the theatrics before sinking back behind that riff.

Bálor's entrance tune is a masterpiece in sound-scaping. It's also a rare example of a modern theme that benefits from being lyric-free. Just ask Shinsuke Nakamura how well shoe-horning unnecessary verses into an already awesome instrumental works out.
