This isn't just the greatest David Vs. Goliath matchup of all time, it may very well be the best match of both performers' careers.

Leading up to the event, Brock Lesnar really played up his overconfidence, mocking Guerrero's heritage and writing off the contest as no big thing. This would normally send all kinds of red flags to fans that there was a strong chance of the big man eating his words, except...this was Brock Lesnar. Going against Eddie Guerrero.

Most wrestling fans had simply grown accustomed to extremely talented, athletic performers getting shirked in favor of the Herculean bodybuilders. But those cynical fans were in for a real treat at No Way Out.

The match was a 5 Star Classic on every level, from the storytelling to the pacing to the technical execution, everything was just as it needed to be. It had an aggressive flow to it, particularly for a match so heavily focused on utilizing ring psychology.

A lot of those kind of matches can drag on and lose the audience, but these two were masterful that night.

Eddie was obviously in top form that night, hitting one pitch-perfect spot after another, but Lesnar deserves all the credit in the world for how well he sold everything.

What really made this one stand out is the fact that, even though Guerrero won the title using some unsavory tactics, the crowd could not have cared less. They knew Eddie Guerrero, the man, deserved to hold the WWE Championship and it was nice to see him do it while remaining true to his Latino Heat character.
