10 Best Debut WWE WrestleMania Performances
7. Ronda Rousey - WrestleMania 34
Who'd have thought a mixed tag team match featuring a part-timer, two members of WWE's executive team, and a non-wrestler would be one of the best at that year's WrestleMania?
Ronda Rousey's name had been linked to WWE since her appearance at WrestleMania 31. Three years later and the former UFC champion was stepping into a wrestling ring for her first ever match, teaming with Kurt Angle to battle Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
In a match that was more smoke and mirrors than a fire at a glass factory, the four participants played their roles to perfection, with Ronda being put over a legitimate badass who could easily hold her own inside the squared circle.
This was never going to win any Wrestling Observer Awards or light up the message boards on Reddit, but it was so much fun. Rousey was made to look like an absolute star, even going toe-to-toe with The Game in a rare moment of intergender combat in WWE.
This match proved two things in swathes - that sports entertainment is as valid a form of professional wrestling as any other and that Ronda Rousey belonged in a wrestling ring.
