10 Best Debut WWE WrestleMania Performances
8. Kane - WrestleMania 14
In the words of Vince McMahon, "That's gotta be... the eighth entrant on this list!"
When Kane debuted at Badd Blood '97, he had his first WrestleMania match all planned out. From the moment he ripped the door off the Hell in a Cell to when he picked up his brother, The Undertaker, and drilled him with a Tombstone, fans knew that WWF were building to a family feud of epic proportions.
Six months later and that's exactly what we got.
The feud between Kane and 'Taker slowly built to this first-ever showdown at WrestleMania XIV. Whilst the match itself was far from a technical masterpiece, the story and spectacle of an undead warrior fighting his demonic half-brother was enough to keep viewers hooked.
The match put over Kane strong, even in defeat. He proved himself to be 'Taker's toughest opponent to date and even became the first man ever to kick out of The Deadman's Tombstone.
Kane was elevated to new heights following this match - a point proven when he won the WWF Championship later that year.
Isaac Yankem DDS and Fake Diesel were now a distant memory for Glenn Jacobs.
Long live The Big Red Machine.
