There are so many Undertaker feuds leading to WrestleMania that followed a simple formula where they were only set up about a month before the match. The Undertaker match that had arguably the best build was for WrestleMania 26 in 2010 when Shawn Michaels was determined to get a rematch. Michaels was upset that he couldn't beat Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 in 2009, which is the best WWE match ever in a lot of people's opinion, including mine. He challenged Undertaker for WrestleMania 26 at the Slammy Awards. When they got to the Royal Rumble in 2010, Michaels was determined to win because Undertaker was the World Champion, so if he won he would get a title shot. It was such a great story because Michaels was so determined to win that when he got tossed out near the end he was furious. The next step was the Elimination Chamber 2010 PPV. Undertaker was still the champ, Michaels wasn't even wrestling on the show and he showed up at the tail end of the EC match with Undertaker alone with Jericho. He emerged from under the cage, hit Undertaker with a superkick, Jericho covered and became the World Champion. http://youtu.be/VgauGnovoSE It was Shawn's way of upsetting Undertaker so he could accept the challenge. Undertaker accepted only if Shawn put his career on the line, so that's what he did. They had one of the best video packages ever for this match too. Placebo's song "Running Up That Hill" was used and it was perfect. As for their match at WrestleMania 26, it was another classic that was also the last match of Shawn's career. The build up to it was amazing and so was the match. It doesn't get much better than that.
