WWE.comAs ECW's first ever PPV, this needs to be watched if only for its place in professional wrestling history. It's maybe not the jaw dropping spectacle the ECW fans would come to expect of their PPV's later on, but there are a few shining moments. Just seeing ECW make its first steps into the world of PPV in its own inimitable style makes for great viewing, but that's not to say there weren't some hidden gems here. The opening tag title match was a high work rate crazy spot match but it was a great way to open the PPV. The standout match of the night however, was the Michinoku Pro tag match, was displayed cruiserweight strong-style wrestling done the right way, all the men involved firing on all cylinders. Capping the night off with Terry Funk in one of his ultimate underdog moments was a great way to end it. A historic debut here.
