10 Best European Wrestlers In WWE History
7. Finlay
Northern Irishman Finlay didn't wrestle his first WWE match until he swapped his gig training the stars of tomorrow for an opportunity to return to the ring in his mid-forties. Despite his age, he went on a pretty productive five-year run, wherein he won the United States title and fought in the Elimination Chamber for the chance to headline WrestleMania in 2008 (and gave us Hornswoggle, for what that's worth).
It's no secret that Finlay commands the respect of his fellow wrestlers, and as a result, he will probably have a job at WWE for as long as he wants one. The Belfast native quite obviously loves the business, and the fact that he's even in contention for a spot on a list such as this, given he joined the company so late in the day, is testament to his continued commitment to the cause.
