10 Best European Wrestlers In WWE History
8. Rusev
Rusev's main roster bow came as recently as 2014, when it took four to eliminate him from the Royal Rumble, but it's been a pretty eventful three years since. The Bulgarian Brute has already held the United States Championship twice, fought John Cena at WrestleMania, formed and then dissolved a (forgettable) peeved off foreigner stable, and been at the centre of a peculiar love triangle involving his real-life partner.
His run has endured longer than many of those packaged with an anti-America gimmick before him (Vladimir Kozlov, an actual Russian, is the obvious comparison), and much of that can be attributed to his ability to get it done in the ring as well. Although he's built like a tank, Rusev is cut from that rare breed of big man that can really move - and his matches with Cena and Roman Reigns in particular were, perhaps surprisingly, among the best on their respective pay-per-views.
