Lesnars rise to the top was rapid and violent. Within months hed destroyed half the roster and won both King of the Ring and the WWE title at SummerSlam. Then one man stood in his way, The Deadman to be precise. The two fought to a double disqualification at Unforgiven but Taker wasnt done with The Beast and wanted another shot. Lesnar agreed but attacked his foe and broke his hand with a propane tank. This meant Taker would have to enter the ring with a cast which could be used as a weapon. Unfortunately for The Deadman, the title of the PPV, No Mercy, would ring true as Lesnar decimated the bigger man as blood dripped everywhere. The cast played an important part early on as Taker bust Lesnar open and then dragged his face across the cell. It looked like the challenger was going to win the title as he even attacked Heyman. This interference cost Taker though as Lesnar tied The Deadmans hand to the cell and hit it with a steel chair. From there, the fight got completely extreme as both men bled all over the ring delivering power move after power move. It was incredible and a match of which were unlikely to see again.
