10 Best Ever WWE Angles Involving Brock Lesnar

1. Extreme Rules 2012

A slight cheat having this separate to the build-up? Maybe, but this bout was such a strange, brilliant entity that it€™s hard not to look at it by itself. This was Lesnar€™s first match since leaving the UFC and Cena was on the back of a losing streak of, well, two matches (Rock and Tensai). That is quite a €˜streak€™ for Cena though and after Edge confronted Cena telling him to €˜wake up€™ and to stop being frightened of The Beast, the match was set. Again, just as WrestleMania XIX had a mat-based amateur feel, within the first few seconds, this felt like an MMA fight as Lesnar took Cena down and showered elbows down on his head, busting him open. From there, just like Heyman said this week on RAW, Lesnar utterly dominated using technical wrestling, holds and elbow hits. Whenever Cena fought back, he had nothing. When Lesnar applied the kimura lock on the steel steps, it looked like John would either tap or have his arm broken. A few minutes later though and Cena hit Lesnar with a fist holding a chain and applied the AA onto the steps that Lesnar had brought into the ring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh_gmdtVAVA The fight though just felt different, not like a typical WWE match. To Cena€™s credit, he went with it the whole way and answered a lot of doubters. Should he have won? Probably not, as it took Lesnar another year to recover but, again thanks to Heyman this week, Cena won the match but he lost the fight. Revenge is definitely on the cards and this weekend The Beast will stand opposite Cena and aim to destroy his opponent and walk out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Brock Lesnar. A big, bad, bloody beast.
