10 Best Ever WWE Angles Involving Brock Lesnar

4. The 2012 Return

Unfortunately, due to the internet, word had got out over WrestleMania weekend that Brock was returning so when Brock came out to interrupt John Cena, the crowd were already chanting his name. This still didn€™t nullify the return though as the crowd went crazy. Brock circled the ring, entered it and promptly hit the F-5 on the Doctor of Thuganomics. A new beast was in town. The following week, Cena came out to answer the smackdown only for Lesnar to again interrupt and the crowd knew what they wanted o see. Cena€™s €˜thank you€™ for the F-5 was a slap in the face which was promptly returned with a takedown, elbow to the head and punches to the ribs. As the locker-room emptied, it was obvious that this was a very different fight to Cena€™s usual punches and when the camera showed Cena€™s bloodied mouth, it all of a sudden felt very real. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnnxMwM32Nw The weeks leading up to Extreme Rules were great as it felt like a rivalry that could explode at any moment and, as with some of Brock€™s best work in the WWE, it felt like it wasn€™t a €˜work€™ at all. What this did was not only confirm Lesnar€™s potential dominance, it also helped Cena look stronger than he had in years as the two prepared to lock up at the next PPV.
