10 Best Ever WWE WrestleMania Entrances

9. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XIV)

Ric Flair 'walked that aisle' like a man begrudgingly satisfied with his lot at WrestleMania XXIV, but his equally obsessed opponent that night was unable to do the same when forced out of the spotlight a decade earlier.

Shawn Michaels hadn't even wrestled since a Royal Rumble bump in January ended up being his untimely ending, but 'The Showstopper' stomped his way onto the 'Grandest Stage' as a man with one last WrestleMania moment in him, even if it literally killed him.

Seemingly not concerned with putting over the next biggest star in the industry nor main eventing one of the most important shows in company history, Michaels was - in keeping with his demeanour at the time - completely self-obsessed. He eyes shot fire at a world he knew was ready to abandon him, his body bravely keeping up the pretence that he was still 'The Icon that could still go'. Wailing "Who's the f**king man?!" straight down the lens in a show of defiance and his own fragility, the insecurities in his entrance were masked about as well as his very real pain in the match itself. His heart was as usual firmly planted on his sleeve, but fittingly, it was broken.
