Take a trip down memory lane to a time when TNA/Impact Wrestling was trying some different things and daring to be different from WWE. Between 2011-2015 (ish) the promotion promoted phrases like "Wrestling Matters Here" and shot backstage promos guerrilla style rather than with bland TV studio presentation.

It was fantastic.

Wrestlers were shown recovering from lengthy matches or significant segments. Still very much in the zone mentally, they were able to give some impassioned speeches about storylines and/or opponents. This was vastly different to WWE's established pretence in backstage skits that camera operators and other production staffers are invisible.

That's become commonplace in WWE, and it's weird. Wrestlers look directly into the camera when they're doing those backstage promos in front of a set, but kid on the same camera operate doesn't exist when they're chatting in locker rooms, hallways etc.
