The pair spent forever kayfabe denying it, of course, but Jerry Lawler and Brian Christopher were indeed another father and son duo who got to share the wrestling spotlight together.

Following in his father's footsteps, 'Too Sexy' Brian Christopher had major success in the USWA - amassing a total of 44 championship reigns across a nine-year period - before landing in the then-WWF in 1997 as the company looked to boost its light heavyweight ranks.

During this time, the King would constantly big up Too Sexy on commentary, citing how he was superior in every possible way to the rest of the light heavyweight division - and all while shooting down Jim Ross' loose implications that Christopher was Lawler's offspring.

Too Sexy would go on to become Grand Master Sexay as one half of the Too Cool tandem - previously known as Too Much - and the real-life relationship between father and son wouldn't be formally recognised on WWF programming until Paul Heyman finally let the cat out of the bag.

Having been released by Vince McMahon's promotion in late 2001, Brian Christopher would be brought back to WWE TV in 2011 to side with Michael Cole in his feud with Lawler. 2014 would also see Too Cool revealed as the Ascension's mystery opponents at NXT Arrival.

Tragically, Brian Christopher passed away in 2018 at the age of just 46.
