10 Best Finishers In Wrestling Today

5. Ember Moon: Eclipse

RKO Luke Harper
WWE

A sight the fandom has been deprived of - why break an opponent's head clean off from a spectacular height, when you can simply break a Nintendo Switch? - Ember Moon's Eclipse remains astonishing. It looks like one of those laughable created finishes from the e-Fed days either side of the 21st century.

A jumping Tombstone from the top rope!

A trifecta of Chokeslams!

A Stone Cold Stunner that you have to jump into from the top rope!

These moves aren't real, because they aren't practical. CM Punk's Pepsi Plunge was murder on his knees. They are also incredibly difficult to pull off, which is why they are a feature of video games, and not the real squared circle.

Except the Eclipse somehow is real.

The precision required to pull it off, much less consistently, is mind-blowing. Ember has to twist, mid-air, before latching onto her opponent's head and driving it onto her shoulder. Like the original Stunner, she isn't looking at them at the point of connection. Those on the receiving end deserve credit for selling it, with such awesome timing, like death.

Vince McMahon and Donald Trump proved how difficult it was to sell the original without looking like a sack of sh*t.
