10 Best Heel And Face Turns At WWE WrestleMania
7. Damien Sandow - WrestleMania 31
Damien Sandow's WWE career is full of so many nearly moments that it's easy to forget about the few occasions on which he did actually succeed in becoming the wrestler (albeit for a very short time) that many of us thought him capable of.
The best of these arguably came in the pre-show battle royal at WrestleMania 31. It was here where The Miz's one-time stunt double decided that enough was enough, throwing The Awesome One over the top rope by way of resignation.
What followed in the rest of the match was a little disappointing. Despite having the support of the crowd, Sandow didn't end up taking home the trophy, which was instead given to Big Show (a man who really didn't need it at that point in his career).
But still, it made for a pretty awesome couple of minutes. This is precisely what WrestleMania ought to be about: long-running storylines climaxing, a downtrodden, compromised heel finally doing what's right. For the fans. For America.
