10 Best Heel Moments In WWE Raw History
5. Orton Punts Cena's Dad
It's almost never a good idea, if you're a WWE superstar, to bring a family member out to ringside. The absolute best case scenario is that they embarrass you a little by failing to look appropriately horrified while watching you get beaten up by your opponent (we're looking at you, Shane McMahon's son).
At worst, however, they could also end up being dragged into the action. This is what happened on a September 2007 episode of Raw, when Randy Orton - ahead of his WWE Title match at Unforgiven - yanked John Cena's proud dad out of the crowd.
Despite JR's protests, he then proceeded to kick him right in the temple while a helpless Big Match John watched on from the ring in horror, marking one of the first occasions that The Legend Killer had resorted to using his now-seldom-seen "punt".
This was at a time when many of the WWE die-hards had grown tired of seeing Cena monopolise the Monday night main event too - but nobody could properly hate the guy (at least his character, anyway) after watching his old man take a boot to the face.
