The tale of Black Lotus is a bit of a tragic one, but that still doesn't absolve her evil ways.

As a child, her parents were murdered. She had been out for revenge ever since, and the only lead she had to track down the killer was the name "Matanza", the brother of Dario Cueto. When she finally confronted him, she was tricked into believing that Matanza was framed and that it was actually Dragon Azteca who had killed her parents.

At the end of the first season she killed Dragon Azteca, and became the bodyguard of Cueto. The end of Season 2 saw her step into the ring for the first time to try to continue her vengeance against Dragon Azteca Jr.

Someday she may find out the truth, but for now, killing an innocent dude just makes you kind of mean.
