10 Best Heels In Lucha Underground

8. Jack Evans

As opposed to some of the more outlandish characters in Lucha Underground, Evans is more of your typical obnoxious heel you see in every promotion. But damn, he's good at it. Evans plays the time-honored tradition of playing a cocky a**hole that you want to see get beat up. It's what sells tickets, and makes people keep coming back to the show.

Along with Johnny Mundo and P.J. Black, Evans is one of the most entertaining acts in the company. He's an effective mid-card act that can be pinned, but doesn't lose any of his heat, because he can get it right back on the mic or in the ring.

When he has the guts, and an opportunity in his favor, he backs up his mouth in the ring. He’s able to pull off high-flying moves with ease, and is of course, quite cocky about it. From incredible top rope maneuvers, to a diving prayer-like attack into an opponent's butt, his arsenal is huge, and often hilarious.

A former Trios champion, Evans will hopefully continue to annoy the hell out of the babyfaces on the roster for years to come.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
