10 Best In-Ring Workers In WWE Right Now
7. #DIY
#DIY, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, are the babyface yin to the heel yang of The Revival - but despite there being so little to separate them, they have been selected ahead of Dash and Dawson here because of their ability to carry leaden and hugely inexperienced performers.
Their work opposite the Authors of Pain has been off the charts awesome. The Authors are widely acknowledged as a contrived and less talented update on the power tandem template drafted in the 1980s - but though it might be considered sacrilegious, their matches at the last two TakeOver specials were better than anything the Road Warriors managed.
That's not to say the Authors are a better team than the Warriors - they aren't - but with their unreal all-round game and peerless ability to generate sympathy, #DIY took two guys who couldn't time an alarm and elevated them to believable destroyer status. The carry job was something of which even Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels would be proud.
Their journey through the NXT ranks resonates so much because every match they wrestle is threaded with callbacks and tension. Their commitment to continuity is such that it genuinely feels like you're right there with them.
