10 Best In-Ring Workers In WWE Right Now
6. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins anchored what might be WWE's best PG Era creation, The Shield, with a raft of sensational performances as strategic and believable as they were electrifying.
His transition to the singles ranks was a smash success, at least initially. His post-Shield rivalry with Dean Ambrose in 2014 was excellent, imbued with the believable animosity all too often smoothed over in the new reality of scripted promos. Few were excited at the prospect of the two men fighting it out under the mundane and predictable Lumberjack stipulation at SummerSlam, but they transformed a lower card plot device into something heated and urgent on the night.
Rollins earned his on and offscreen last minute WWE Title capture at WrestleMania 31, but his subsequent reign cast some doubts over his main event credentials. The injury suffered when he attempted to deliver a sunset flip powerbomb to Kane was unfortunate, but not entirely surprising; though he attempted to compensate for his light frame by piling on mass, the size discrepancy between Rollins and his larger opponents, sometimes difficult to invest in, unravelled him.
WrestleMania 33 redeemed him, even if his match with Triple H was better on paper than it was on execution. Rollins has the potential to top this list - but he's not quite there yet.
