The SmackDown Live audience had quietly been chanting "Rusev day" throughout the show, so you can imagine how excited they got when the Bulgarian appeared backstage in the company of Aiden English. The pair discussed Rusev's victory over Daniel Bryan last week, as the man himself talked about how he wanted to rule over SmackDown Live.
Lana interrupted the segment, where she revealed that she would be taking on Billie Kay next week in a Money In The Bank qualifying match next week. It was a fun little segment, and it was great to see Lana back by Rusev's side, but her accent was a little distracting.
It seems that WWE doesn't know what to do with her. The Russian element of the Lana character proved extremely popular back in the day, but considering how both Rusev and Lana have evolved over time, the accent isn't really working.
