Probably most recognised by todays audience as the man with the leprechaun, Dave Finlay had been involved in the wrestling business for more than 30 years prior to his WWE stint. With spells in WCW and CWA, Finlay is well respected amongst fans and wrestlers alike. Having trained the likes of Kurt Angle and CM Punk in WWE, Finlay was brought onto the main roster to be the ring general for many up and comers. Having successful feuds with many new faces, the man who loved to fight was usually thrown in the Money in the Bank Ladder match so that he could chaperone a match which could otherwise have been a complete mess. Finlay managed to capture the US Title during his time as an active wrestler in WWE, but its his workmanship and storytelling abilities that are sure to stand the test of time with audiences. These days, Finlay is a respected backstage agent/producer.
As a pretty nerdy guy, I've loved film and television since I was a wee lad. Growing up in Ireland, The Den was the show to watch with it playing Batman The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and everything in between. I have an MA in Radio and Television Production and have written for various sites, hope you enjoy my articles/lists for What Culture!
