In October 1999 at No Mercy, Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz absolutely stole the show with a tag team ladder match. Adding in the Dudley Boyz, you had three hungry tag teams who were looking to make their mark in the WWF. They went out and raised the roof, hitting death-defying move after death-defying move, and bringing the crowd to its feet. Some of the craziest spots included Jeff Hardy hitting a Swanton Bomb off the top of the ladder onto Bubba Ray Dudley, who was laying on a table on the outside. The ending was particularly brutal, with Matt Hardy performing a forward flip from a table that was sitting on top of two ladders and falling through another table. The table basically exploded on Hardy's impact. This match put Edge & Christian on the map, as they won their first tag team championship and began the heel turn that would begin their run as arguably the greatest tag team in WWE history.
