9 Best Ladder Matches In Wrestlemania History

3. Money In The Bank Ladder Match - WrestleMania 23

WWE.com
This was the most star-studded Money in the Bank Ladder match in WrestleMania history, featuring established main eventers like Booker T, Edge, and Randy Orton, up and coming stars like the Hardys, CM Punk, and Mr. Kennedy, and a veteran like Finlay. The decision to have Mr. Kennedy win the briefcase was pretty shocking considering the other talent that was in the match, and unfortunately it didn't work out due to Kennedy's injury, but it was a bold move that had the fans on their feet. Before that, however, was some seriously insane spots. Randy Orton hit an RKO on CM Punk from the top of the ladder, King Booker gave Orton a Book End from the top of the ladder, and Jeff Hardy hit a legdrop from the top of a huge ladder onto Edge on the outside, effectively taking Edge out of the match. A funny part of the match had Hornswoggle come from under the ring to help Finlay, only to receive a rolling senton from Kennedy from the top of the ladder. WrestleMania 23 was a great show, and it was kicked off in the right way with the best Money in the Bank Ladder Match in WrestleMania history.
