10 Best Lucha Libre Wrestlers In The World Right Now

9. King Cuerno

Those who have tuned into Lucha Underground will recognise King Cuerno, most likely for his sterling steel cage bout opposite Johnny Mundo during the organisation's first season. Since then, Cuerno has also been Gift Of The Gods Champion, trading the belt with Fenix in the same promotion.

Originally a star in AAA, Mexican wrestling enthusiasts in the United States must have been thrilled when Cuerno elected to sign with Lucha Underground. A quite brilliant storyteller, the man also has a well-muscled look that doesn't restrict his speed. Like many others on this list, that goes a long way to making Cuerno one of the best in the world at the moment.

Back in AAA, he was known as El Hijo del Fantasma ('Son Of The Ghost'). That chilling name only adds further intrigue to the character, meaning King Cuerno may actually sound like a letdown by comparison.

Thankfully, Cuerno's in-ring work is anything but a disappointment. He's the kind of star that would be perfect for WWE's Cruiserweight division, as he also speaks fluent English.
