8. Mistico II

Those who remember the hype surrounding the original Mistico will naturally be wary of his successor under the gimmick. As the first Mistico signed for WWE and tanked as Sin Cara in North America, Mistico II started lighting up CMLL shows with lighting quick flurries that aped his predecessor perfectly.

So popular was the Mistico character that CMLL bosses wanted someone else to fill the role once the original departed his homeland. Mistico II was that man, a huge compliment to his skills considering how smooth and cherished the soon-to-be Sin Cara was during his time on the Mexican wrestling circuit.

Around the same size as the first Mistico, II represents the kind of talent that harks back to a previous generation. On occasion, watching him work is like going back in a time machine to see a young Rey Mysterio flying with grace around the ring.

WWE have been burned before by the idea of Mistico, something that would work against II should he ever have dreams of signing for the promotion. Right now, as a CMLL World Trios Champ, he's doing just fine where he is.
