In that same eight-women tag team match, The Bella Twins also donned some pretty memorable comic book inspired costumes. As Batman and Robin, Nikki and Brie looked undeniably impressive, and as female versions of two traditionally male characters, they definitely managed to impress.

In many ways, it's appropriate that Brie was the Robin to Nikki's Batman as that's reflective of how their WWE careers panned out. Brie was never pushed the same way Nikki was, and there are plenty of theories as to why. Nikki certainly looked more like a traditional "Diva," and as time passed, she often proved to be the better in-ring competitor.

Had 2020 panned out differently, both women - who have now retired from in-ring competition - would have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. That's bound to happen at some point, of course, and while they weren't everyone's first choice, it would be unfair to say they're not deserving.
