A wild gifsplosion of an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match, Ishimori vs. Bandido vs. Dragon Lee was shorter than expected at just 8:54, but still hit all the highs fans had anticipated when the bout was first put together.

It was as if the hyper-athletic trio had taken an 18-minuter and condensed it into half that. In that way, it was reminiscent of last year's ALL IN main event and, like that bout, it may have been a better contest because of it. With no room for flab, the ROH/NJPW trio were forced go all out. They barely stopped throughout. Their three-way was a relentless storm of Destroyers, dives, counters, and Hurricanranas. It was a whirlwind of excitement. They played off each other like experts, with one wrestler's move feeding into another's, and the end product was almost as overwhelming as New York City itself.

The most impressive spot saw Bandido lift Lee and Ishimori for his top rope Moonsault slam, then flip himself backwards to drive both into the mat. He couldn't seal the victory, but he did deliver his latest star-enhancing performance in a year full of them.
