Celebrating the good times.

As sad as it is to say given how raw everything still is, the list of wrestlers released during WWE's exodus this week only have memories to look back on. The positive side is that some of those memories are worth remembering; there are some seriously good matches on this list, and they'd be fine auditions for other promotions once all this sh*t blows over.

The workers included are too talented, experienced and knowledgeable not to land somewhere.

There are Cruiserweight classics, NXT TakeOver hidden gems, emotional rollercoasters, old-school tag-team winners, balls-to-the-wall brawls, hour-long epics and star-laden moments to look back on. Think of this as a celebration of talents who never deserved to lose their jobs or be cast out into the wrestling wasteland during such a sensitive, uncertain period.

Hopefully, revisiting the better times will make some reading this smile. If the world is fair, then everyone released during what's being (informally) called 'Black Wednesday' will land in AEW, the NWA, ROH, Impact, New Japan or elsewhere when the time is right.

These matches prove their worth and very much speak for themselves...
