10 Best Moments From WWE’s Worst Performers

7. Mike Kanellis' Honest Interview

Mike Kanellis is going nowhere in WWE at the moment, and that's not only because of his self-admitted addiction to painkillers. In fact, and as bizarre as it sounds, Kannellis' admission to those personal problems was the only time fans have had any insight into his real character since he debuted.

A strikingly honest video on WWE's official YouTube channel last October saw Mike (and his wife, Maria) sitting down with Renee Young for a candid chat about their lives. In the process, Mike opened up like never before and stories of his battles were inspiring to hear.

It's hardly common to hear anyone in WWE be so sincere about their own failings.

After Maria gave birth to the couple's first child in April this year, there's a positive tale WWE can tell with Mike, and it's one they need to if he's ever going to forge a connection with the audience. This, controversial or not, was Kannellis' best moment as a WWE employee to date. Everything else he's been involved in has been forgettable.
