10 Best Moments In Starrcade History
9. Cruiserweights Steal The Show (1998)
Officially, Kevin Nash's World Heavyweight Championship showdown with Goldberg headlined Starrcade '98, but ask any of the 16,000 in attendance and it's more than likely - unless they've a particular liking for screwy finishes - that they'll tell you it was the cruiserweights who stole the show.
This was Eric Bischoff's little guy division at its very best, showcasing a dream triple threat between champion Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio, and Juventud Guerrera in the event's opening bout, famous for the holder hitting a brilliant top turnbuckle Shooting Star Press to the (thinly-padded) outside.
As if that weren't enough, the match was immediately followed by a second defence, this time Eddie Guerrero unsuccessfully challenging Kidman in a singles bout. That's 25 minutes of Cruiserweight action - and not a second of it wasted.
