10 Best NJPW Wrestlers In WWE
2. Eddie Guerrero
A true global superstar, Eddie Guerrero worked almost everywhere throughout his legendary wrestling career, and was with New Japan for three years following his formative stints in Mexico's CMLL and AAA.
He didn't pass through the Dojo system like Chris Benoit, but Eddie was handed a decent push. Guerrero became the second wrestler to take on the Black Tiger monicker in August 1993, and found success after engaging in a notable rivalry with Koji Kanemoto, who was playing Tiger Mask III at the time. A tournament fixture, Eddie won the '96 Best Of Super Juniors competition, and while he didn't become IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, he signed off from NJPW with a fun title fight with Great Sasuke.
Joining WWE as one of the Radicalz, Guerrero eventually became a beloved star in WWE. He had his troubles, particularly early on, but it didn't take long for him to catch on.
Great in the ring, charismatic, and boasting a genius level wrestling IQ, few wrestlers have ever inspired such devotion from the fans, and his WWE Title win remains one of the most cathartic in history.
