10 Best Non-Chamber Matches In WWE Elimination Chamber History
9. The Miz vs. MVP (2010)
The Miz was tagging it up with Big Show at this point in WWE history. The two were Unified WWE Tag Team Champions so Show accompanied Miz to the ring on this night.
Miz was already the U.S. Champion, which was what MVP was challenging for. Mark Henry accompanied him to the ring to even things out.
For over half of this match the pacing was slow. What action there was took a back seat to the announcers talking about how the 'veteran' Miz would be mentoring the 'rookie' Daniel Bryan when NXT debuted during the following week.
Near the end of the match Miz had a little bit of color on his forehead, changing the vibe of the match for the better. MVP would rally and the crowd would get behind him.
As the fight spilled to the outside the other wrestlers became involved. Big Show would sidestep Henry as he ran himself through the barricade guarding the timekeeper's area. Shortly after, Show would K.O. punch MVP while Miz had the ref distracted.
Miz won the match and retained his U.S. Championship in a match that had a fun final few minutes. Hopefully Daniel Bryan was taking notes.
