10 Best nWo Moments

4. The Lawn Dart

By late July of 1996, the nWo was unstoppable. Their random attacks on the WCW faithful had put the roster on edge, and put a few of them in the hospital. During a six man tag match on Nitro, Jimmy Hart frantically ran to the ring, telling the competitors to come to the backstage area. The camera then cut to Arn Anderson, Marcus Bagwell laying on the ground after Nash and Hall had beat them down with baseball bats.

Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio tried to save the day by diving off the railing of some steps, and was easily caught by Kevin Nash who then launched him face first into the trailer. Rey hit the concrete ground, in what had to have hurt like hell. Hall and Nash just walked away laughing, got into a limo, and drove off into the night as Randy Savage hung onto the top of the vehicle desperately trying to stop them.

It was simply awesome.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
