10 Best Opponents For Daniel Bryan At WWE WrestleMania 35
6. Samoa Joe
Let's just show a clip from a few weeks ago:
It's safe to say: when Samoa Joe let's loose, he's absolute fire. He showed this on RAW against Brock Lesnar back in 2017, and he more-or-less shows it on a weekly basis now on SmackDown against everybody. When you give a microphone to Samoa Joe, he can easily give you a passionate, compelling, and memorable promo.
It really wouldn't be an issue of face/heel when putting him against Daniel Bryan should, in an unlikely scenario, Joe actually gets a WWE title match at WrestleMania. In his feud against Brock Lesnar, Joe didn't have to turn into a whitemeat babyface to earn the support of the crowd. All he had to do was get on the mic and cut down his opponent verbally. Joe is a charismatic enough personality that the traditional heel and face paradigm WWE likes to push would not matter. Especially if Joe is against such a fantastic heel like "The New Daniel Bryan."
Assuming Joe doesn't suffer some horrible freak injury, this will be his first WrestleMania. That's insane, given he's been with the company since spring of 2015. Given what he's provided the company, Joe should have a grand WrestleMania debut - perhaps against the WWE Champion himself.
