2. John Cena

It still feels weird to consider John Cena as merely incidental in the day-to-day proceedings of WWE programming, but this is the reality we live in. John Cena is now a Hollywood part-timer who shows up in WWE when his schedule allows for it. That's not a knock on him in the slightest, as Big Match John has more than earned his time away from the ring, and his standing with the fans is better off now that he's the occasional big star.

Still though, it's John Cena. If he shows up, it should be a big deal. And frankly, for the last few years, WWE have made his WrestleMania appearances feel like an afterthought. Whether it's getting squashed by The Undertaker, saving The Rock from Bray Wyatt, or tagging with his (former) fiancée in a mixed tag advertisement for a reality show, WWE have really done a disservice lately to an all-time main-eventer at their biggest show.

Regardless of John's connection to Daniel Bryan through the Bellas, or the fact that the two have amazing in-ring chemistry, the fact is putting Cena in a match with Bryan for the title would do right by the former Franchise of WWE, giving him a high-profile match at WrestleMania that the likes of Triple H and The Undertaker usually get.
