1. Shelton Benjamin

But despite all of that achievement, on this particular occasion it’s nigh on impossible to overlook Shelton Benjamin as the greatest performer in the Money in the Bank history.

Sure, his record of five appearances and zero wins isn’t all that impressive, but no one has delivered on the Money in the Bank platform quite like Benjamin has managed to over the years.

Whether he’s leaping onto ladders displaying his general cat-like abilities, launching himself onto opponents via running, flying or diving Sentons, or pulling out amazing moves like this sunset flip powerbomb superplex—whatever Shelton does in the Money in the Bank ladder match, its likely to take your breath away.

And most importantly, he was one of the very first people to do all of that stuff. While we’ve seen guys like Kofi Kingston try to emulate Shelton by running up ladders, no one has done so quite like the Gold Standard did at WrestleMania 21, when he scaled an unset ladder to clothesline Jericho from off of very top.
