10 Best Picks For New WWE Raw & Smackdown General Managers

7. Smackdown - Trish Stratus

It's been a long time since Trish Stratus was a regular part of WWE programming, so for fans who don't remember, here's the deal: not only did she improve in the ring to the point where she was one of WWE's all-time best female workers, but she was a great personality, as well.

There's no reason why Trish can't still command a crowd, and no reason why she can't do it as the General Manager of Smackdown. Stratus has never held an on-screen authority position before, but she's well-respected by fans, and that would give her a commanding presence running the show. She'd also be the first female babyface to hold authority in a long time.

A new era of Smackdown calls for some interesting changes, and putting Stratus in charge of the show qualifies. She's already mentioned recently that she'd be up for returning as a personality (albeit a heel), so maybe it's a workable plan.
