10 Best Picks For New WWE Raw & Smackdown General Managers

8. Raw - JBL

In 2004, Bradshaw turned into JBL, a rich Texan with more personality than fans had ever imagined. Over the course of the following years, JBL became a unique character and a WWE stalwart (even if some of us never forgave the company for having him prematurely end Eddie Guerrero's WWE Title reign).

Today, JBL is a colour commentator on Raw, and his work is divisive, to say the least. Many feel that his inaccurate statements and constant yelling actually make the show a lot harder to watch, and he's frequently cited as the worst part of an announcing scene that desperately needs improvement.

Despite all that, he's clearly charismatic and funny, and can be used better and more effectively.

It would seem like a no-brainer to give JBL a shot as an authority figure, but apart from a brief run as NXT Commissioner, it's never happened. If Stephanie McMahon were to appoint him as GM of Raw, he could become a hated heel once again, reclaiming some of the heat he had during his heyday. Maybe there'd even be cause for him to have one last match.

If nothing else, it would get him out of the booth.
